We are currently accepting applications for our Annual Gift of the Season, a needs-based gift of targeted Career Coaching sessions awarded to individuals in the Triangle area who are currently seeking jobs and who need assistance with career coaching, interview preparation, and business mentoring. Three individuals will be selected to receive one private Career Coaching session with Certified Master Coach Rebecca Cooley.
Rebecca Cooley has provided coaching and consulting services to executives from Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies in the Raleigh-Durham area for nine years. She specializes in career transition services including interview preparation, public speaking training, and goal achievement. She has completed training in Coaching, Public Speaking, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion-focused Coaching, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, and Meditation and takes a multi-disciplinary approach to her coaching and consulting services. She is the author of A Mindful Approach to Coaching, and regularly provides mindfulness and skills training courses. She holds active memberships with the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, and the International Coach Federation, and holds a Master’s Degree in Administration and Managerial Leadership. Rebecca's mission is to help people help themselves.
Individuals will choose one of the following topics for their private coaching sessions: Career Exploration Coaching- explore career options and create a career plan Career Coaching- identify transferable skills and strengths Resume Instruction- get recommendations and instruction on updating your resume (bring your current resume) Interview Preparation - get recommendations and instruction to prepare for your upcoming interviews Networking- get recommendations and instruction on your elevator pitch Life Coaching- identify internal obstacles holding you back and create an action plan to move forward Business Coaching- receive recommendations on establishing your business *The sessions will be completed by phone or in person at 1135 Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary.
Eligibility for this program is needs-based and awarded to participants who can demonstrate a financial need. To apply please complete the Gift for the Season application and include your total household income information from your 2015 tax return form, and number of dependents.

Selected applicants will be notified by TBA.

If you are selected to participate you will receive an email on Dec. 25 inviting you to schedule your session (please see available dates and times below). We require that you schedule your session by TBA. If we do not hear back by email your session will be awarded to the next award candidate.
