Mindful gratitude

For today, spend time reflecting on everything and everyone you are grateful for.

Notice and be aware of the abundance in your life, whether it is the laugh of a child, your spouse doing a kind deed for you, a smile from a stranger, your health. There is so much to be thankful for. Notice all the ways your life is full. Are there situations in your life that have come easily and have brought you peace and joy? Are there people in your life who show you love and acceptance regularly? Do you spend time outside and notice the beauty and serenity of nature? What are you grateful for?

Gratitude is such a powerful way to live in the moment and be mindful. Through gratitude we acknowledge what we already have. When we notice and observe the many blessings in our life, we experience a fullness and the endless seeking takes a pause for that moment and we can breathe. In gratitude, we can experience the moment and what it means to be present, to just be.

For today, try:

fasting from the feeling of lack

write down 5 things you are grateful for

Wishing you peace, love, and joy throughout your day,

Rebecca
