This is a great time to reflect on the past year and develop your plan of action for what you want 2014 to look like.
I am so grateful for all life has taught me this past year. My Top 10 Lessons Learned in 2013:
Being right is not important.
Connecting with people in a genuine and authentic way is so very important; we need each other and we truly are all connected; love is not reserved for people you know very well - you can love a perfect stranger.
Being vulnerable and allowing others to help me is true strength.
Letting go of people and situations that do not align with my values is key to living my life in joy and peace.
Expressing gratitude every chance I get helps me stay focused on the abundance in my life.
"Whatever I vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon... must inevitably come to pass!" (And that the key to it all is action!).
My mental resistance to "what is" brings suffering, and my way out is distancing myself from my thoughts.
Meditation quite simply helps.
Being flexible and open-minded in my beliefs, thoughts, and actions allows much goodness to enter my life and gives me the ability to make positive and necessary changes.
Trust my true self, my wise self, my higher self that transcends fear and doubt, the uplifting part of me, the encouraging self.
I wish you much joy and peace throughout this new year! -Rebecca
